Rémy Martin Mixtape

I worked on Rémy Martin's Mixtape campaign, a project celebrating 50 years of hip hop and the launch of their VSOP Mixtape Volume 3 Limited Edition. We created content for the Mixtape Street Art Museum, a traveling augmented reality exhibit showcasing eight legendary DJs across five cities.

As one of the main After Effects animators and co-lead of the animation team, I helped bring this visual approach to life that captured the DIY aesthetic of early mixtape culture, chopping up visuals the way DJs remix their music. We embraced a collaged feel through cutting, coloring, overlaying, and distorting elements to capture that raw mixtape energy with a modern twist. The cassette tape ribbon became our visual thread, weaving through four New York DJs against a backdrop of hip hop culture.
