McDonald’s Loyalty Rewards

I worked on McDonald's Loyalty Rewards campaign from start to finish, animating menu items and creating After Effects toolkits for the rollout of McDonald's new rewards program. Partnering with Wieden+Kennedy, we built a comprehensive design and animation system that could work across any canvas for this national campaign.
The project involved creating 29 unique menu item illustrations and animations, plus customizable frames and pedestals. The design language drew inspiration from classic game shows, complete with pedestals, framing devices, and a bit of glitz and glam to make each menu item feel "elevated" and heroic. The goal was to make every animation feel like a little stylish reward of its own, with unexpected reveals like treasure chests, graphic sunrises, and ice cream disco parties.
Being part of the project from the start to delivery meant not only animating the menu items but also building the After Effects toolkits that would allow the system to be easily accessible for the client.
